The BOUNCE project partners are pleased to announce the launch of their brand new website. The URL www.bounce-resilience-tools.eu remains the same but the features have been significantly improved. On this new website, it is now possible to find a database referencing European projects working specifically on resilience, but more broadly, in the primary prevention of various forms of violent radicalism. This database is complementary to the 'Radicalization Awareness Network Collection of Practices', with a particular focus on primary prevention initiatives. The coming months, our database will be continuously expanded with new projects. This database should be used by field workers to identify interesting and applicable European practices in their social context. The BOUNCE database is also designed as a bottom-up initiative. Indeed, it will be possible for everyone to add initiatives to this database in order to share even more widely European best practices.
Another feature is the creation of a forum on which BOUNCE trainers from different EU Member States can exchange experiences, share ideas and ways of working and ask questions to their colleagues. By working together and pointing out obstacles we believe that the quality of the trainings will significantly improve and BOUNCE trainings will be further optimized. This forum will be moderated by the BOUNCE Support Office Team.
On the website you will also find the list of all BOUNCE instructors. BOUNCE instructors are the only people officially recognized as able to train trainers. The distinction should be made with 'BOUNCE trainers' who are only able to train youngsters and their social environment using the BOUNCE tools. A list of European trainers can also be found on the internet website.
The BOUNCE team would like to particularly thank the European Forum for Urban Security (Efus) for their contribution in the update of the BOUNCE database
